Getting started

Quickstart

Three minutes from install to "wait, this is good." Here's the whole path.

1. Add Crewly to Slack

Click the button below. Slack will ask which channels Crewly can join โ€” start with one (a low-stakes channel works well) and expand later.

Add to Slack โ†’

๐Ÿ’ก We only request the scopes we actually use. No DM-reading, no file-downloading by default. Read the full permission list โ†’

2. Connect at least one tool

Skills work without integrations, but they get sharper with context. Start with whichever tool your team already lives in:

  • GitHub โ€” unlocks code reviewer, debugger, tech writer
  • Notion โ€” unlocks docs search across deep research and content skills
  • Gmailโ€” unlocks "draft replies to recent threads"

You can connect more tools any time from Settings โ†’ Integrations inside the Crewly app.

3. Try your first skill

In your chosen channel, type:

@Crewly summarize the last 20 messages in this channel

Crewly will detect the intent, pick the right skill (in this case, summarizer), and reply in-thread. Every reply shows which skill ran and what context it used.

4. Teach Crewly something

The single most powerful command:

@Crewly remember: our pricing starts at $99/mo

That fact is now in your team's memory. The next time anyone asks Crewly to draft a pricing reply, it'll use it.
